I'm a little contrarian about Garchomp. Love the design and ground-types, but every competitive team I faced in Gen IV having one soured me on it for a while. Getting over it largely thanks to Pokken.
Most of my favourites either don't make it to OU or get banished to ubers anyway. And this is why I'm forever a casual.

Having a pokemon be sexualized is sort of a roll of the dice with its popularity: it can end up becoming very popular and liked because of that (like lilligant and gardevoir are to some extent) or very hated (like goodra). That said, I've seen very few people do that to scolipede, and most are just memeing when they do.

Offensive gliscor is still used. Gliscor will pretty much never be bad because Toxic Heal is one of the best abilities in the game and fucking Ground/Flying is an absolutely retardedly good typing.
Not to mention Gliscor has a movepool that most pokemon can only dream of having.

On one hand I'm happy to see it suddenly turn into a competitive monster in just one generation but on the other hand overexposure and everybody knows what it does now. I used to bring it into battle every now and then in BW and nobody knew it had shit like Sucker Punch. I don't use it as much these days since it's gotten a little boring to use especially with everybody else using the same-ish sets but it still remains on my list of favorites.

I guess Magnezone, back in gen 4. Honestly, my tastes usually fit nicely within the UU area. I tend to dislike the really good mons. Despise most legendaries, can't stand stallmons, wish Talonflame would be deleted from the game.
I love Jirachi and Garchomp, and they both are/were top tier at some point.

Weavile and clefable are sweet pics, nice taste and very good pokemon. Charizard and dugtrio are ok at best, and the other two are ok too. If you want competitive rating, I cant help since I'm a scrub, but in taste, you get a solid 8/10
