>ITT: pokemons you cant avoid having in your team everytime you play a new game
I love a lot of pokemons, but Gliscor is one of my favorites. If gligar is catchable in the game, ill have a gliscor.
I get crobat everytime as designated Fly whenever i can until BW
now i use golurk
>>26814653
Scrafty, Blaziken, and either of the Ralt's family fits this bill for me
Crobat and geodude/roggenrolla are also common staples I see in my teams
>>26814653
It's really hard to avoid using the cool Electric types, and I don't even like Electric type that much
Lanturn line
Ampharos line
Luxray line
Zebstrika line
Eelektross line
Heliolisk line
>>26814695
golurk flies? the fuck
>>26814653
Since gen v I always get a Hydreigon for my ingwme runs and competitive. My bro sweeped most or the E4 in B/W and gen 6. But before that I'd always get a Crobat, and I still do too.
Golem and Crobat. They're always available in pretty much every game and they're both Battle Brother tier.
I love them and if Pokemon were real they'd be the first two I would catch.
>>26814955
>STILL liking Golem
>>26814653
>early route shitmon
They gets me everytime.
>Rattata
>Furret
>Purrloin
>Beautifly
>>26814653
Arcanine and Nidoking are always a must. Sometimes Luxray too, I have a soft spot for the Shinx evolution line.
>>26814715
How new are you?
>>26814653
Gyarados. Black was the first time I didn't have one on my first playthrough.
>>26815031
THE FUCK HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
ok i think ill catch a golurk next time
>>26814984
>TFW every time I play Gen 3 I end up with Mightyena and Linoone because I love them too much
Same with Furret in Gen 2 and Stoutland in Gen 5. They're just awesome as companions.
Scyther Kabutops any bladed arm pokemon.
>>26815133
edgy
>>26814710
>cool electric types
>doesn't post QT patootie bug
I love Lanturn tho, good taste
>>26814710
Eelektross is a pain in the ass to train though
i remember catching a...tynamo i think its called? and damn, what a fucking weak pokemon, all day trying to level him up, and even then, it wasnt that strong till Eelektross.
Good pokemon, but pain in the ass. Like Altaria.
>>26815200
>tfw the gen Eelektross debuted in he came to replace my starter
Feraligatr and Volcarona always end up with me some way or another.
Xatu as well.
I've used Nidoking whenever his line was available, in Red, Yellow, FireRed, Gold, SoulSilver.
>>26814653
Top tier taste anon. Gliscor is an absolute bro, and one of the best mons ever. There are so many ways to run it, it becomes pretty hard to choose, he is just too good.
>>26815434
I like to go killer with him, sword dance stone edge earthquake and x-scissor can pretty much face anything
Been using a Sneasel and subsequently Weavile since Gold and Silver. Only use it once I've entered the HoF for the first time though.
If Zubat is available, I catch that because Crobrat is a Brobat.
Every new game, as soon as possible I trade myself a newly hatched Weavile holding a razor claw.
>>26815434
>Gliscor can learn so many offensive powerful moves
>Gliscor can learn so many support moves
>Gliscor can learn so many boosting moves
>Gliscor's stat distribution is almost perfect
>Gliscor has one of the best abilities in the game
Most pokemon would kill to have an ounce of the love GF has for gliscor.
I tend to go with sableyes when I get the chance, even if they are horrible without prankster. Power-up-punch, shadow sneak, knock off and poison jab work surprisingly well with good EVs and a sitrus berry
>>26814984
Vivillon is great, too. Furret, Raticate, and Linoone aren't as shit as everyone says.
I gotta use Nidoking every single time I play Gen 1 or Firered.

Motherfucking Slowpoke/Slowbro. Always.
Crobat I guess. I like it and Zubat is always readily available.
>>26814653
I had to force myself to not use Ampharos in my HG run after seeing it on my team in pretty much every game I own. That and Skarmory, Togekiss, Yanmega and Mienchao
>>26814653
If it's in the game, Wooper and Mareep are used. If not, i'll jump through hoops to use them.
>>26815512
>>26815542
My niggas.
Gyrados
>>26814653
ralts everytime
>>26814653
>pokemons
I love the Venipede line and Vaporeon.
Heracross is my nigga forever.
>>26819447
I love using it but since it's good at destroying nearly everything in every game its in, it ends up being an EXP hog.
>>26814653
Definitely this guy. He's not even my top favorite but there is something satifsying about watching an ant turn into a majestic dragon. Plus, I like that he can learn Fly without being a Flying type himself. Opens up a lot of possibilities in team building.
>>26819490
And I forgot my pic.
>>26814653
Flygon and Absol, they've appeared way too often in the last few Pokemon games.
I always throw in a shiny shinx in my 2nd runs of games so that I can pretend i'm a ripoff Ash.
Crobat and Scrafty
>>26814653
None. I try to only use new gen Pokémon for my in-game team.
My one exception was Gen VI. Because the new Dex was just too small. So I used Chesnaught, Vivillon, Talonflame, Farfetch'd, Whiscash, and Steelix.
But I hadn't used those past-gen Pokémon before.
Alpha Sapphire was the first remake I've played. But I tried to stick to Hoenn Pokémon. Sceptile, Masquerain, Linoone, Sharpedo, Ludicolo, and Latias.
For the curious:
>Red
Venusaur, Clefable, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo.
>Silver
Meganium, Ursaring, Xatu, Octillery, Houndoom, Lugia.
>Sapphire
Sceptile, Pelipper, Hariyama, Banette, Latios, Kyogre.
>Platinum
Torterra, Bibarel, Drifblim, Bronzong, Azelf, Palkia.
Never played Gen V.
Regardless of how good it is, if its in the main game, I'm clearing it with him.I'll then box him and neve use him competitively aside from a couple rounds of the battle maison
Since sapphire, never not had one.
Always the best fossil mon
