Is Snorlax still a badass? Me and my friends used to have him in our teams but now I don't see people ever mentioning his name again. I'm not a fan of Normal-types but Snorlax was always my favorite of the bunch.

Now that I think about it maybe Snorlax hype was mostly due to the anime. He was that silent fat guy that everybody picked on until he got mad and kicked everybody's ass.
It can still work against unprepared teams, however due to the massive power creep he's just not as bulky as he used to be.

Nah, Snorlax was legit one of the best pokemon from Gen I to III, Gen IV added a ton of new fighting pokemon and moves plus the special/physical split so it was easier to kill him
