Yeah, I love some of it, am indifferent to others.
I loved a lot of town themes, Castelia being a prime example. Wild battle theme was pretty great, but the regular trainer battle and gym battle were uninteresting and bland to me. The battle themes are the most important ones too, since you hear them by far the most, and are more or less the "core" of the games.
I DID, however, fucking absolutely LOVE that th last pokemon in a Gym battle summoned this theme.
