If the Alan vs Trevor fight is supposed to be tense,I can see it being that way because if threats from lysandre to manon's safety. Ash will probably lose to Alan because of this. Who's writer and animation director for the first episode of the league?
Don't normally post in these threads but just wanted to say XYZ 26 was great. Not because I enjoyed seeing Greninja lose or anything, it was a really good match.
But seeing Shota's character growth and developing his battle style was nice, he's really become a great character in my opinion. (That little part at the end where he clutches his battle-memo!) I hope he gets a cheery conclusion at the end of XYZ.
Oh and he also chose some of the coolest Pokemon in the franchise so that's a plus as well I guess, no clue what else he gets later but hope they're equally awesome.

As of late, Shota has surpassed the student, and even has hoped that Ash would come back to his former glory. The league battle would probably not be about the master-student thing anymore, but a battle between equals, of actual rivals.
