200 hours only on my latest run, if I combine all the pokemon versions I probably have around 2000 hours. No regrets!
This was only because it was the only game I had to battle and train in current Gen. Once I got OR I really touched it besides trading or training stuff for transfer

I'd say I spent about 120 hours finishing the game, capturing every single pokemon available, and evolving a couple, the rest was all trading.

Absolutely, even worse, 2000 hours by $30 an hour on a semi decent job is $60,000. basically I could have bought a small apartment.

Cool, shiny hunting is just way too much of a grind for me, but it adds a lot to the game's replay value if you are willing to go for it.

The fuck?I have 1500+ hours in several games and probably around 4000 with all pokemon games
I'm not bragging, I'm trying to say that it's nothing uncommon to waste that many hours into hobbies, let alone videogames.
