But Greninja apparently meets up with Zygarde, perhaps it reunites with Ash later, what's weird is that Pikachu isn't present on the scene. Also the summary says that they wait for him and then the snowstorm hits, unless Serena left the PC on her own went back and then came out again to look for him it's likely that it was after the snowstorm. And Ash being ashamed to show his face to his friends/pokémon is a thing this Ash could do, as it shows in the preview when Serena approaches and he tips his hat, he doesn't want to see her directly.
