According toSmogon, Tentacruel gets 24 Speed EVs, but Excadrill will have 275 Speed when maxed and Adamant. That's something M-Manectric can't beat, even with Flamethrower. I see what you mean now. Maybe you need something bulkier than Tentacruel, like Blastoise.

Mmk. That's something to consider. I was also looking over Claydol like someone in the last thread suggested. It's bulky for sure, resists Incognito Boulders and is immune to ground, but besides spinning away hazards there really isn't much else it has going for it. I already have something who's job it is to barf Concealed Ore, so I don't know about that. Unless I gave Ferrothorn Thunder Wave and Claydol Secret Sediment instead.
I was also checking out Starmie. It's faster, spreads burns like herpes with Scald, spins away debris and can cure itself of damage with recover and status with Natural Cure.

Final slot is up for debate. I'm not using this on a simulator like Showdown. I'm breeding these Pokemon on my 3DS to fight my friends, people here, and at conventions I'm going to in the near future. Last suggested move slot on Smogon is Psyshock to deal with Keldeo, which I honestly don't really see being a big problem in local friendly battles. I was thinking of using Confuse Ray just to piss people off and hope for extra damage with burns, and to maybe help switch ins. Yeah?
