Does anyone else wonder why in Johto that Bayleef didn't evolve all the way? I like Bayleef's middle stage so I don't mind, but it seemed like they were going to do the same thing as in Kanto. Have one starter evolve to its final form and leave the other two unevolved. But Bayleef stayed in its middle stage. Meganium doesn't even look much different than Bayleef so I wonder why.

The thing is they've also used up almost all the hair colors for main girls. We have redhead, brunette, blue hair, purple and now blonde.
There's not many other colors now to choose from besides green or pink, and I doubt a main girl will ever have those hair colors. I sometimes wonder if the reason they didn't go with Hilda is because she has brown hair just like May, and the writers don't want two girls with the same hair color on the cast.
I don't think its a coincidence that all the main girls have had a different hair colors.

I can't believe animators still think it's acceptable to leave a shot where someone's character completely freezes as they let the others talk over them, unblinking, failing to shift their eyes even a pixel towards the next speaking person.
Remedying this alone, would improve like 40% of the scenes and its EASY AS FUCK TO DO. I could do it for fucks sake. It's literally 3 seconds in ms paint to move that eye a half inch over in the direction of whatever fuckface is speaking. This is why anime just doesn't work for me. If a movie tried to direct the viewer's attention in such a basic way, it would be laughed at. There are ways to keep a shot active and alive without being expensive, instead of fucking freezing everyone who isn't talking stiff. Their reaction to whatever is said is always immediately after the dialogue. There's never any simultaenous ANYTHING.
