Hawlucha, we've been long overdue for a luchador themed pokemon and Hawlucha nails it.

Dragonite, I don't hate Dragonite, but his evolution is the biggest fucking bait and switch. I was almost certain that my Dragonair in Red was gonna evolve into the most hardcore dragon serpent. Nope.
Even being hard to believe by some people, Nosepass line is perfect. Nosepass is a ruined Moai as currently are these sculptures, and with magnetism powers as related to Easter Island magnetism. With this power, its nose makes compass function. It's funny and clever.
In the other hand, Probopass, while it is an cross-evo, it seems as if it had been planned from the beginning with Nosepass. Now is a restored Moai, the original Moai form. Its magnetism power are incremented, and its form also is based on a compass. Just look at it from above. The mini-noses are new compass needles (also based on Tangata Manu).
Even so, neither of these two Pokémon is over-designed. They lacks nonsense thousands of colors.
If this design is unsuccessful is because noses aren't attractive and unfortunately it's the featured part of these designs. That's all.
I don't say they are the best designs in the franchise, but I wanted to choose them in this thread to show a little appreciation for them.
If I have to choose a poorly designed Pokemon, it may be Klinklang. I like it, but Klink offered much more than "more gears in its body".

RBY player here, I wouldn't buy a Heracross product if you paid me. Johtomons are shit.
Best is Mega Metagross. I already liked the concept of the Beldum family evolving by combining with another and changing shape, and Mega Metagross takes that to eleven by combining a Metagross, a Metang, and two Beldum. And best of all is that it's rather subtle - you really don't notice it at all until you've been looking at it for a while.
Worst is Exeggcute. It's... eggs with faces. That's it. And it evolves into a coconut tree for some reason. Oh yeah, and it's somehow - SOMEHOW - just one Pokémon.
Dishonourable mention goes to Dugtrio and Magneton, which is just three Diglett and Magnemite respectively. It doesn't make their designs bad though, I just find it ridiculous how lazy they are.

Disliking Klinklang's design because it barely changes from it's pre-evolution is a bit... wrong. Like I said, it's certainly lazy (although in Klang/Klinklang's case, I'm pretty sure it was meant to hark back to Magneton), but it shouldn't change your opinion of the design itself.
