hm... I realise that digital art is the best way for this one, but I'm just not a digital drawer. I did it with copics, and I don't like their natural texture for use as a reaction image, so I put a PS filter over it to make it flatter but well that just looks like someone put a bad PS filter over it (next pic)

I think the eye glow trail will really help with the fast movement feeling on the Onix. Less so on Brock, but it'll really depend on what you're doing with him.
As for the closed eye thing, this is just a suggestion, but how about have him only open his eyes during the battle against him or other key moments, rather than all the time?

Alright, so this may be a bit premature given that my finals are coming up and I won't start working on this until Summer starts, but I figure that I might as well say this now and hopefully get a mountain of requests to choose from.
I'm going to start taking commissions, and stop doing stuff for free that goes beyond simple doodles, but before I can do that, I need to make a commission page with prices and stuff. What I need for that is just one request that I'll complete with the idea that it's something that I would get paid for. Obviously I won't be, but it's just the mindset that I'll be keeping. I'm going to use it to get the different levels of completion for my commission pricing page, namely, Sketch, Cleaned Sketch, Line art, Flat colors, Cell Shading, Blended colors, and finally, Full Digital Painting
So yeah, chuck some requests at me. I'll choose the one that I like best, and do that. It won't be done any time soon, but it will be well worth the wait.
