Well for starters you're doing it wrong.
>Have Volcarona or Talonflame as only pokemon
>Give Everstone and Destiny Knot to corresponding pokemon
>Ride around daycare until you get 5 eggs
(some people like to save before that so they don't fill up their boxes)

>Turn on Egg Hatching Power 3

>after all eggs hatch go check on the IVs at the appropriate NPC's location

That should take about 10 to 15 minutes per cycle, depending on what you're breeding.
Now EV training you'll have to do some math to figure out how many pokemon you should battle or how many item you'll need to use, but basically:
>Have a Fly, Sweet Scent, and spread move user (Tropius does this well)
>Have a mon with Poke'rus next to the one you want to train
>Do 3 regular wild battle then check to see if it's infected
>Once infected give it the corresponding Power item and use Sweet Scent
All in all, if you're lazy, don't have enough recourses on one game, or don't have enough time it should take you a day per pokemon.

I only ever bred for perfect IVs because there wasn't a method for injecting perfect pokemon into X and Y when they first launched.
The IV system is retarded anyway. With nature and EVs, the player has total control over how they train their pokemon. Arguably, nature is just a random chance, but it's one variable with 25 possibilities instead of 6 variables with 31 possibilities each.
As someone who raised over 100 5/6 perfect IV pokemon the "traditional way", I'm saying fuck IV training. Fuck IVs. They're a bullshit variable that adds nothing to the game.

Man, am I the only person on this board who literally doesn't give a shit? I personally enjoy the bike simulator. I like the lottery thrill of hatching eggs, and Wonder Trading all the breeding rejects occasionally gets me some neat Pokémon to start new projects with. I build teams, I battle.
My cousin is an injector. He builds his teams, and then injects them, starting from scratch if things don't work quite right. As long as all his Pokémon are within the boundaries of the game (i.e, no WonderTomb shenanigans or illegal moves), I don't really see a difference. It's two means to the same end.
