I think I've screwed something up when it comes to breeding. I've given the mother an everstone and the father a destiny knot, the mother has 4 perfect IVs, and the Father has 6, yet I keep getting eggs that only have a single perfect IV. Additionally, my odds of getting my desired 5 IVs ought to be around 1 in 10, yet I've been through dozens and dozens of eggs and never found one.
What's the deal? Am I just wrong in my understanding in this mechanic?

If all that is true, it's literally impossible to get an offspring with less than 3 perfect IVs

By the information given, it would be impossible for the offspring to have less than 3 perfect ivs. the ones that wouldnt be perfect would be the random, and the 2 non perfect that got passed from the mom.

Thanks guys, I checked the father's IVs again, and I'm an idiot.
I spent almost my entire day breeding a mother with 4 perfect IVs and a Father with none. All of the stats were mentioned, by the judge, so I screwed up and didn't notice it said they were fantastic, not that they couldn't be beat. Turns out I only had a 0.0326% chance to actually get the IV set I was looking for. Funny thing, I actually got several 5 IV mons out of this, they just didn't have the correct combination. I'll use one of the males from that set and see if it nets me better odds.
If I hadn't asked it here and if you guys hadn't responded, I probably would still be breeding for a 0.0326% chance IV set, so thanks again.
