That and it's only my first story. Not even my first fan-fiction, literally the first time I've ever written something that isn't for an academic grade.
I'm by no means trying to rush through the story. I plan to organize it something like Ralts in elementary school, Kirlia in middle school, and Gardevoir for high school/college/post-college.
I just think the story would be pretty boring if the Ralts didn't understand speech. Imagine that it hatches, the kid tries to talk to it, it has no idea what the fuck's going on, it can't ask for food, and it just ends up going to bed hungry.
Some advice as to how I can make the story feel more "immersed" would be nice, though.

God fucking damn it, what's with all the people obsessed with Gardevoir? When I was in college, I had a roommate. Dude was fat, smelly, and obsessed with Gardevoir. He had Gardevoir t-shirts, Gardevoir posters, a Gardevoir plushie, and, I swear to God, he had a Gardevoir body pillow. Every fucking conversation we had, he turned it into a Gardervoir conversation. I wanted to punch him so bad, but I couldn't. I have anger issues, and fucking up just once could get me out of college. But honestly, sometimes I thought I'd gladly pay that price for punching that fat motherfucker in the face. I kept finding Gardevoir pictures EVERYWHERE. Some of them were covered in dry cum. Every night I heard him jerking off, and no matter how many times I asked him to stop - he did it anyway.
One time he said to me: "Hey Anon, we are having Pokémon night this Friday, are you cool with that?" I had an all night LAN party that Friday, so I allowed that, but only if his buddies wouldn't touch any of my stuff. At all.
Long story short - LAN party got cancelled, and I had to go back to my room. What I saw could not be described. All four pulled their dicks out in one synchronised motion and started to masturbate. I wish I was making this up. Even today it comes back to haunt me in my dreams.

Even if it is Psychic, for the first few months it wouldn't be able to fluently understand him. Just narrate it as a passage of time or something, rather than being facetious for plot convenience. Realism helps immersion, as does a lack of typosFurthermore, try reading back your work and looking at the sentence structure and compare it to an existing work, or even a news article from a BBC website that reports a story, and you'll see where your sentence structure can make it a little trying to read at times. It'll come with time.

I don't think I have any typos, but I'm certain there's plenty of areas where my sentences might get a tad jumbled up. That's more my fault for just being too lazy to re-read most of the stuff I type.
I'll either start the third chapter tonight or tomorrow. I haven't really been in a productive mood despite the positive feedback I've been getting. Not to say I don't appreciate your criticism, it's actually a lot more helpful than to just have someone say "Good story, keep it up". Always nice to know what you can improve upon to make your content more enjoyable.

The individual frames of the source are blurry and hard to make out.
And translating the proportions of normal Slavic man to Gardevoir's proportions is pretty tricky.
Also determining depth is the hardest part of translating a 2d gif to a 3d animation.

As far as the animation itself goes, it's decently put together, and displays some talent.
HOWEVER, the art leaves something to be desired, and the character model is a bit too anthropomorphized.
Tone down the tits, make the character look more canon, and put more effort into the art, and your animation will be a solid 8 or 9/10.
As it is, I give it a 6.

Difficult. There simply aren't enough faces to create a feathery look on close inspection. The edges are razor-sharp. Gardevoir actually does have both knees and wrists.
Here, let me give you a basic rundown of Gardevoir's skeletal structure.
Its core consists of 2 spinal bones, a waist bone(which translates the entire model), and a hip bone(which swings the hips around). Its spike is located near the point spine 1 and 2 meet, but is made of two connected free-floating bones that allow the spike to not only flex, but also to be removed entirely from the body.
Attached to the Core(spine2) is its shoulder bones, which function like human shoulders. Each arm goes: shoulder, upper arm, forearm, followed by TWO wrist bones(one for rotating the hand, and another for bending it), finally tipped with three solid finger bones.
The legs are linked to the hip bone, and go: Thigh, shin, foot, and toe, creating THREE total joints. A knee, an ankle, and toes.
The dress is also linked to the hip bone, and consists of 34 total bones. 5 for each of the 4 flaps on the front and sides, and 7 for each of the rear ones.
The head is attached to spine2 by way of a neck bone, which move the neck, and a head bone, which move the head atop the neck. And attached to the head are 4 bones(2 each) which allow the hair bits under its ears to be moved.
And all this is pretty much how Gardevoir is rigged in-game.

While I agree that Gardevoir does have knees and wrists, I just want to say that the bone structure of the model doesn't represent an actual bone structure of the character.
As you'd clearly know, it's used for animating the model, not for being an anatomical breakdown. It has "bones" in places that real bones wouldn't be, for the specific purpose of animating it.
After all, I'd highly doubt that Gardevoir would have 36 bones in it's dress, and bones in it's hair.

Well, Gardevoir ALWAYS stands on the very tips of its toes. They need those joints to maintain that gentle springy curve. If its legs were perfectly straight pegs, animating it walking would be extremely awkward.
