Between having newcomers, old people taking breaks (temporarily or permanently), and people who never learn, it creates the illusion that people overall hadn't learned anything.
The underlying problem seems to be that the thread's culture has effectively left us with little to talk about other than the current episodes. So, with lack of content to discuss, shitposting (especially triggering shippers) is not only more noticeable, but more prone to take over the main discussion in the thread, despite efforts to counteract this.

Good question. Since they announced it as an adaptation of the first two games, I'm expecting a two-cour season, meaning 12 or 13 episodes to each game. Sounds reasonable enough if we don't include Rise from the Ashes: they could give one episode to 1-1/2-1, two or three to 1-2/2-2, three to 1-3/2-3 and five or six to 1-4/2-4. Try adding 1-5 and it becomes a clusterfuck no matter what due to it needing at least as many episodes as 1-4. I guess they could skip it and make it as a flashback between AA3 and 4 if they ever get to adapting them.
