Honestly, I've hosted similar events in other parts of 4chan and the absolute best way to run these kinds of things are to just ignore all detractors. It's kinda childish to just plug your ears up and pretend you don't hear anything, but it's miles better than trying to convince people to be nicer or to conform to a standard.
