The bluegrass is always greener,
In somebody else's yard.
You want to live in the water,
Getting there might be quite hard.
Just breathe in the air around you,
Just 15 pounds per square inch!
That's less than it takes to crush you.
Try that in an ocean trench!
Up on the land!
Up on the land!
Hey dude don't go there,
Under the water, it's not that grand!
Under the sea they don't breathe air!
How do you think you'll live down there?
Hey I'm not kidding,
You're fine just sitting,
Up on the land!
>Pokemon 690: Groudon
>Hard Mode: No References or Fixes
You know the drill. Pokemon is selected at random daily, you get in this topic, you draw a Groudon in MS Paint (or similar program), and post results.

>Groudon
Hey all! I'm new to these threads, but i'll be attempting hardmode from here on out.
Heres my first, GROUDON!
520
There's only four legendaries left, so of course I'm gonna be prepared. Also, 650th Hard Mode.

How the fuck do yall draw groudon so good?
That shit was hard as hell for me!
>>24734796
Have the patience of a saint.I draw on trackpad.
>>24733520
>Making my worst ever submission the biggest one
Why OP?
Hard mode
This one is pretty awful too though kek
>>24734796
You've got to stick to it! The more you draw, the better you'll get.
>>24734981
I don't think he resizes images unless they're way too big.
Your image last thread had the largest resolution. This time there's already four people with larger images than you, so you should be fine.
>>24734814
I knew drawing by mouse is not the best way.. >>24735069
Does that even work for drawing with a mouse?
>>24735073
that's way too much
>>24735073
Is that a scRotom?
>>24735093
Yeah, it's just that most artists have a better time working with trackpads though. It's easier to draw straight lines, for example.
I draw mostly pixel art, which is probably the only thing you would absolutely want a mouse for.
Sometimes if I don't draw pixel art, I'll draw the lines for something on paper, take a photo of it, and then draw over it with a mouse. I'm still very much new to that type of thing though.
>>24735282When I said trackpad, I meant the touchpad of a laptop, not some fancy touch tablet thing.
>>24735288
Oh. I guess I got the names confused. How on Earth do you deal with using one of those?
>>24735314
Been drawing primarily on a laptop since 2008. It's not nearly the most optimal way to draw, but I admit I'm used to it at this point.
>>24735288
Do you use your finger or what?
>>24735069
I didn't even realize that I accidentally made the image huge
Oops
>>24735093
>>24735282
Drawing with a mouse is not that hard. Stabilizators exist. The rest is practise
Where is a groudonkey?
>>24736330
He's right there, you just posted him.
>>24736032
>>24735282
>>24735093
I've been drawing for these threads for almost 500 days and I've been using the mouse ever since I began.
I usually do it like this: I draw freehand first. It's gonna be all jagged and crooked outlines. Then I create a new layer over it, and trace over the whole thing using the bezier/line bend tool to make everything smooth. It's gonna look nice once you're done.
Longtime lurker and lover of the effort here, going in for my one and only submission that I hope will be included. Groudon is my favourite legendary. I beg you receive this submission - I am aware it's both shit and hand-drawn, but I'm terrible at digital art programs and desperately want to be in this collage just once. Seeing as I missed Deoxys, this is possibly the last one I really wanted to contribute to.
Would very much love to see my very, very amateurish work on the collage for the one only Number 383.
Trackpad bros unite!
groudon used to be my favorite pokemon back when ruby and sapphire came out

FTFY
Groudon is the champ, since he controls basically ~100% of the earth's mass and volume.
>>24737673
than why dosent he use the whole earth to toss the water into space???
chegmate :^)
>>24737386

You also need a certain amount of talent which he clearly hasn't.
>>24737819
wow, a background that actually fits! keep it up
>>24737847
This is wrong. You don't "need" talent to be a good artist. What you DO need is to strive for improvement, which is something he seems to not care for.

That's like saying even the dumbest people can become scientists. Everyone will meet their limit of intelligence eventually and it's the same with art. Jiggly really doesn't seem to care about improvement though, I'll give you that.
