I'm currently playing SoulSilver for -like- the 11th time, and I still find it amusing. It's a randomized run, my starter is Scyther. I'm about to challange Mahogany town's gym.

I'm into Pokémon since 1999 (European release date of R/B, I'm Italian), so I'm very attached to the first gen. That said, I consider HG/SS to be the apex of the mainline games, probably because I like Johto and its mountainous theme, the possibility to challange 16 gym leaders and the visual style. Probably in the near future there will be a better game, I'm really ok with X/Y and OR/AS.

After playing Crystal and Stadium 2 for a bit, I thought I'd try a newer game, so I played Platinum and instantly fell in love with it, and it's been my favorite ever since.
