Hello gentlemen, I've got all the dirt you want on Pokemon Sun and Moon! My English is pretty good, by the way.
There are a net 50 new Pokemon! "NET 50?" I hear you say. "What the hell does that mean?!" Well, Gamefreak is retiring some of the less-popular Pokemon like Farfetch'd and hoping that nobody notices.
Most of the unrevealed new Pokemon are a jumbled assortment of cats, dogs, bears, and maybe another lizard or two.
There are 20 new Megas and none of them are Mega Flygon. In fact, due to an irreparable glitch, Flygon cannot even participate in battles involving at least one Mega in any way.
You can only use Synchro attacks three times a day. If you alter your 3DS's internal clock, Synchro glitches out and resets to zero uses.
Rowlet evolves into a pretty chubby owl with moss around its neck and loses its Flying type. Litten evolves into a bipedal Fire / Fighting type with six fingers on each hand. Popplio evolves into a mermaid and automatically has its gender changed to female upon reaching its final evolution.

HMs return in a BIG way. So far I've used Cut, Rock Smash, Rock Climb, Flash, Defog, Surf, Waterfall, Whirlpool, and Dive.
Gyms are gone and replaced with Lilly escort missions. She's very prone to complaining and stopping to rest.
It turns out the fourth island containing Lunala and Solgaleo is an illusion created by the evil team. You never actually visit it.
Speaking of which, the evil team is a group has a jock theme, whose leader is named Jacque. I haven't fought one that hasn't had a Yungoose on their team yet.
The artificial island is a tidal power plant with just one accessible room but lots of locked doors. I suspect this has to do with future DLC.
Oh, the game also has DLC now. I know there's a special golden Pikachu for purchase, but not much else at this point.
And as an anniversary game, Pokemon Sun and Moon celebrates its franchise's history by going retro in many respects. For example, the Physical/Special split, breeding, and beta-testing are not present in the game.
Please do not discuss this information at all! I'm a janitor at Gamefreak with seven kids to feed and I'm putting enough on the line as it is! I mean it. I'm just barely surviving.
