Should Rotation battles be dropped? I think it's clear that it's been a flop on a competitive level and it barely even exists in-game in gen 6. Triples at least has a somewhat active playerbase and is really interesting to play. On another note, where abouts do you think the new Battle Royal mode will rank in popularity?

Doubles are the superior format. It's amazing how one extra mon on either side adds so much depth. Singles is some babby tier shit in comparison, BUT it's the traditional format so it's always gonna be played a lot.
Triples are a disgrace to the franchise. There's too much shit happening at once for there to be any strategic merit. Also Matt Block is fucking retarded.
Rotations are the second best format. It's like playing singles, but with some twists. You get to switch for free, which really emphasises making the correct predictions. It's amazing how there are still 3 mons on either side like in triples, but it's 100% less garbage a format.
