My first game was Silver, and Ledyba was the first Pokemon I ever caught on my own. I remember that morning, it was the day after my birthday and Cyndaquil and I just began our journey.
I don't use one these days but I hope everyone who does gets the evo/mega/buff their bro deserves

A Ledian got me through a Gold nuzlocke pretty well actually.
It was pretty decent defensively and you could teach it elemental punches which came in handy.

It was geodude in Gold version for me. Loving that evolutionary line has made me resent the hell out of trade evolutions, but at least eviolite gave graveler something. It's not like Golem is good anyway, and if nintendo gives it a mega it will just be mega-steelix and mega-aggron all over again.
I'd rather golem or graveler be given something other than a mega to make them more viable, then I can be straight edge and act superior to all the people who have megas.
