>The two companies have intense PR campaigns so they don't look transparently evil. In Flesh, BioCorp present a 'natural', 'organic' image to contrast the 'lifelessness' of CyberCorp. In Metal, CyberCorp stylize themselves as 'bettering the world through technology', to contrast the 'corruption' of BioCorp.

>Champion pays lip service because he's largely detached, so focused on his homegrown Pokemon raising - maybe he was actually one of the company's founders, way way back in the day (making like clean renewable energy for CyberCorp, and curing some disease for BioCorp).

>Once he finds out, he royally flips his shit and literally battles his way through one of their headquarters, while you battle your way through the other.

>And in the third version, he initially supports the hacktivist/brain scanners, but immediately recoils once he finds out their essentially enslaving the Pokemon for their cause.
