The cutscenes are pretty important. Having the models also is important too. In P3P you don't get stuff like Shinji getting shot, or a lot of the resolutions. (especially Akihiko's and Junpei's, whose I feel that they ruined completely by making too on the nose) Scenes like Mitsuru's father dying and Ikutsuki killing himself lose all impact because they're not shown as a cutscene. You don't get to walk around the overworld and try to examine things yourself since they turned it into a point and click where you highlight stuff. To me at least, P3P is the one that's completely inferior. I can't really see preferring it for any reason other than having played P3P first, or if you only ever play the FeMC side of it.
