It can provide both since some quests require both sides completed. It was okay, by the fourth dungeon I hated the EO elements, and hama/mudo is REALLY REALLY OP. Then Myarid arrows is OP for everything else.

You can fuse personas and everyone in the party can be assigned a persona ALONGSIDE their default. The game will run around 30 hours if you rush on safety, but will take much longer if you decide to challenge yourself. You can choose which MC you want to be as in the beginning of the game, but since they meet up right after and the groups stick together for the rest of the game, it doesn't offer much in the way of reputability.
