In other news today, is degeneracy on the rise? Inside sources claim yes. This claim after scientific studies where undergone to find the collective limits of peoples deviancy. If you wanna go anime girl, there's multiple choices.
Bodys:
For teenage'ish girls there's the Avatar 2.0 and ZS Anime Avatar for out-of-the-box animes, the former having slightly more support to my knowledge but both should work with many mesh outfits. Or you could try one of the fitted mesh avis like Nauha or Maitreya (the latter more curvy and bosomheavy), which feature standart skins and texture clothing support.
For tiny lolis there's either the Kemono body with Tera Elin'esque proportions. And the SuperMeshBros body for "more realistic" child bodies, which also features standart skin support but not texture clothing support.
Heads:
For kawaii uguus there's either the ZS head or M3. Personally i do not recommend the Mokyu heads for they're impossible to customize beyond what the HUD comes with, but might work anyway.
If you want something more teenage/androgynous the M3 Venus is your best bet, though the Avatar 2.0 head is also pretty good.

LL bodies with the sliders are gross in any case, so you'll need to buy something off the marketplace. Everyone knows Uti a shit, but 2.0 or Kemono bodies are your best bet, paired with some mesh anime head.

Finding a good prim hair is tricky and most anime looking stuff is mesh, so I'd start looking for mesh hair. Prices are going to range from dirt cheap to expensive too.
These shops have some anime hair, LCKY has more at their in-world store. There's probably a ton of other shops that do too, but you need to do some digging or wait for someone else that knows of them to tell you.

Any hairstyle on the market will work with both the Kemono and M3 heads. If it's rigged mesh buy a demo beforehand, if it's not buy a demo beforehand. Wasabi Pills is a good starting point for anime-suitable hairstyles.

Top story today, War in stern. Fighting broke out between the opposing forces of kiki, du su, and mecc this evening and the shelling continued for nearly two hours. Witnesses to the carnage had this to say "Fuckin du su is a hacker shit" The battle reached a climax when fifty blimps fell to the forces of a single flak canon hidden inside a shipping crate.
Next today, are anime swords getting bigger? Over the past few weeks we've seen a steady increase in size of anime swords, as well as a drastic rise in spottings. While many attribute the increase to "gay furshits" there are some who claim a more sinister force at work. If things continue at this rate the entire sim will be a sword by early in 2016 noted dizzy, who is still in the process of removing clouds from his inventory.
We also have conflicting reports on which sim, stern or deshima is more homosexual. While both sims have maintained 90% homo readings since earlier this year. Many stern users insisted that they were making great strides in reducing their gay-emissions but were quickly silenced when they were reminded Brynvald still comes on at least once a week. In retaliation, deshima users were told to remember that they also still have Brynvald as a member. This went on for several minutes before both sides realized they shared 99% of the same users.
Finally today, several threads in a row have reached bump-limit a new milestone for second-life users. The threads were toted as "not 100% shit posting" and "Only minimal users banned for shark dick pictures." Go gettem boys!
