You're fine. You need to accept that you may lose some heroes, but if you have experience with enemy types, you'll be alright. Get everyone to resolve six by doing exclusively Ruins runs, then move on to the others. Don't do Cove missions unless you need to remind yourself.

Cove is actually the easiest champ dungeon, with a Vial/Stun Amulet PD... Especially if she has some +SPD quirks, stunning half the fish packs before they react and making snibsnabs into maintenance stops to heal/destress back to full.

Assuming you run a PD and a guarding HM for the other frontliner, maybe. The Warrens is the worst in straight damage, but the Cove has so much unfair bullshit compared to the other places. Traps are crippling instead of a minor annoyance, Seaward Slash and Spearfishing give me PTSD, the stress dealer can buff and heal, giant crabs of much bleeding, and always needing to prioritize a stupid thrall or risk taking triple digits in damage.

I'm feeling pretty good about my champion team right now... but I haven't taken on any bosses yet. This team dunked Veteran Necromancer but I'm still nervous about Champion Necromancer. I need to stop dawdling though. Week 65 and I've only done 3 champion dungeons.
Which champion bosses are harder than the DD quests would you say? The trophies are obviously mostly not worth it.

Champion Necromancer is a pushover. Hit him until he dies. What you have to worry about is Flesh, Crew, Hag, and Pounder. Nightmare made material.

they dont have much health, even on champion, so a good hit from just about anyone will kill them (though their huge dodge stat and the accuracy debuffs they can apply complicate that), mostly you just kill the webbers first, since they're the ones who mark and stun the target.

Alright, more mod fuckery: currently I can't find any hero or enemy effects that can remove debuffs, and I can't find in-game item effects (aside from holy water and dog biscuits) at all to see how medicinal herbs does it.
I know that curing blight/bleed is ".cure 1", curing stun is ".unstun 1", and curing marked is ".untag 1", but I can't find anything for debuffs.

Arba can mark; lower dodge and remove marking
Vestal can heal and stunt
HM can mark; lower prot; protect a friend
BH can mark, stun, move enemies
3 of them have attacks buffed by marking
The HM is full buffed dodge and usually don't take any damage from protecting a friend
I really like this team, full of potential.
The only problem is the stress...

I prefer to kill the spiders in the back first, since the mark stun is a weak attack and the frontline spiders might waste turns spamming it, so you take less damage overall. This works best if you got fast heroes though, like a Grave Robber.

Darkest Dungeon is full of anachronisms in the first place, so I wouldn't worry too much about this. I think a vaguely Chinese style would work better, since the furthest hero was the Antiquarian who came from "the shadowed east."
Flavorwise, it kind of looks like he has too many weapons. All the other heroes have about two weapons at most.

I don't use Fasting Seals at all in Champion (sometimes I might use one if I want to use Raider's Charm) because for champion runs I'm willing to just shell out all the cash for a well-stocked run. I'm not in champion to farm heirlooms or money - that can be done much safer at lower difficulties. If I'm in champion I'm there for leveling or boss killing so that takes priority.
Fasting Seals and Bloodthirst Rings can save a lot of money over the run using them in your lower level runs, but there's just no reason to put yourself in danger over reduced food in champion. Buy the extra food, miss out on loot, and make it home safe.

I have a maxed out comp of lads that stomped literally everything I threw at them (Arbalest, Occ,HM,MAA).
I have really good trinkets (I'd say) and have beaten several of the champion bosses with this setup.
Is there a reason to kill all the bosses? I don't want to grind dungeons just so I can reach them and then get RNG'd by dodge on the pounder fightagain. I just want to see this infamous Darkest Dungeon.
Also, please don't spoil shit for me, I did 99% of this game blind, and I quite enjoy the challenge.

+SPD PD and Meme keeps my parties pretty full-healed. And with 220% stun stressers seldom do any real damage before they're dead.
I'm sure Lepers are great for some parties but I've never seen the need for em.
