I'm really enjoying it. You pretty much summed it up, yeah. It is timed which makes it a bit more difficult so that's good. The labyrinths are really well designed and fun(of course the earlier ones are easier and less complex). The layers give it a cool 3D effect despite the fact that I'm emulating it. Plus, I've always liked Pyro Jack so it's fun to play as him. All in all a fun little time sink if you're a fan of SMT.

I always tried to have a healer in every team. I also miss-matched the demons based on the skills of the leaders. So put magic based demons with Atsuro who was physical and physical demons with Yuzu. MC's team was always a boss killer team full of magic of as many elements as possible.
Making a team specifically for healing is just a bad idea imo since they'd have to run across the board and risk getting in fights they can't win jsut to heal a team that could've healed themselves.

The iOS version has butchered translation, is locked at 15 FPS and uses the awful GBA version as base. It's been censored in the west due to Apple USA policies, hence why butchered translation. They also didn't put effort into getting VWF (Variable Width Font) to work with it, so they had to cut out like 30% of text in the game due to lack of space enforced by FWF (Fixed Width Font).
