Not really, no. Semi-auto is almost always better than full auto, you save more bullets, more accurate, etc.
You're more likely to hit something vital if you're properly firing at them, rather than spraying.
The best thing you could do is try and use a thermal grenade, and a few other grenades, maybe a VOG or M203. No sense in using full auto going ham on bloodsuckers and controllers if you can save much more ammo by simply being smart with what you have.

Snorks are ones I panic with really bad, because in MISERY it's sort of a last ditch attempt to not die, so I just fire as fast as possible and it usually fails. Really badly.
Everyone takes care of mutants differently, but that's not a bad thing. Just try to minimize how much ammo you use, and how much damage you take, and trade that for time, and it usually works out well.
Especially with chimeras, all you have to do is get high ground, and pull out a few nades. It's really not that bad at all.

It was just a minor detail for me and I didn't pay much attention to it.
I learned the basic english way back in school (and I forgot probably half of it thanks to long nights at the bottle and bong in my youth) and perfectioned it over time,
through video games and movies. Now I can watch movies without subtitles and understand most dialects. I'm currently trying to lose my own dialect when speaking english but I can really feel that it's not my native language. Gotta concentrate pretty hard to get shit right, especially when there are many "s" and "th" included in the sentence. Stuff like "Thanks, that's..." still comes out as "Thanks, zat's...". It's kinda difficult to just let the words roll of the tongue without sounding like a retard.
