I think most mmo's are basically on the way out, they're all basically reskins of each other to some degree. The whole point of them was to make a huge virtual social group, but because there are so many they fractured their own genre fanbase so that none can have a solid base to build off of like WoW at its peak or anything, there's only ever excitement for a month or so after launch, then they all just dwindle.

Part of the problem is that when they're all so similar, being bored of one game you put literally millions of hours into means you're bored of all of them.
MMO's are facing the issue in the west where most of the fans of the genre played enough WoW to be bored of anything WoW-like, and nobody knows how to make anything that isn't WoW-like, so there's just not the same enthusiasm.
It doesn't help that the MMO market is flooded with these dime and dollar gook knockoffs coming off the assembly line every few months with anime tie-ins and cash shop cosmetics to milk some neetbucks before going under.

We got 2 new map battles (summit and plains) and 2 new raid bosses (Lugh and Eochiad) since Sylas came out.
There'll be a bit of a surge in endgame activity after people finish leveling their Delia's but that's about it. The game was basically so dead before Delia that you couldn't even get raid boats together and it will likely go back to being that dead in a month or so when Delia hype dies off.
