What really made people start to hate KH2 a lot was how the fandom exploded and became even more horrendously horrible. The fandom eventually cooled down though...until 1.5 and 2.5 came out; then it went to shit again.

What completely pointless KH-related thing have you done lately, /khg/?
I spent two days splicing together Simple and Clean and Hikari, and it actually came out better than I expected. There's only one part of the song where I had to shove in an awkward instremental version because both languages were overlapping when I didn't want them to.
The real challenge was that I couldn't find a version of Simple and Clean as high quality as Hikari, so the volume levels aren't really even. Also I couldn't find (and also couldn't be bothered to make) acapella versions, so the end when I have both playing at the same time sounds pretty bad.

Nobodies retain the consciousness or "spirit" of the original person from whence they were created. excluding time travel shenanigans, there are no examples of a Nobody existing simultaneously with their host.
due to Kairi using her "Princess of Heart" cheat code to restore Sora's body without first destroying Roxas and purifying Heartless Sora, a paradox was created where Sora's spirit existed simultaneously in Roxas' body and in Sora's body. this led to Roxas being an amnesiac, although it doesn't seem to have had much effect on Sora (he was dealing with the zaniness of Castle Oblivion/being asleep in an egg for the entirety of Roxas' life, though, so we can't really say whether or not he was affected by the simultaneous spirit thing)
anyway Roxas needed to rejoin Sora because it was the only way to unify the spirit and rectify that paradox.
