If we are talking about pure DMG SBs without utility, even including BSBs, if you can afford it, it is better to have a high honed LS so you build up 2-3 SB bars for the 1/3 hp of the boss where they get tough and just unleash all your DMG SBs in 2-3 turns to murder the boss as fast as possible.
The BSB commands are really good for beginners as they can substitute shitty hones, but when you can spend your orbs to hone LSs it is better overall to unleash BSB after BSB without even touching the commands.

Neat. Hope does like 60k with it on bosses I'm against at level 30. RW level 80-99 OSB users with way higher stats do like 65-70k on the same bosses so I'm impressed he hits so hard

do you mean with synergy? Most of my swords are within a point or two of my dragon claws or stronger than it by a point or two. Not the guy you were talking to

with my equipment I have regular SB katana's that have a higher attack than SSB swords. And my SSB fist has 15 more attack than my SSB sword. I still rosetta my sword because anyone can use it. Katana's and fists do far more damage than swords.

Dragon claw has 124 attack while both of my ragnaroks and excalibur have 125. Apocalypse and break blade are 124 and defender is 123. That's all pretty close. My spears are all 119 or 118 so they're clearly lower, don't have any katanas to check. Are dragon claws just particularly weak for claws or are you comparing your claws to something like the blitz sword
