Go into training before and after every play session.
Practice tracking, flick shots, 180s and then tracking again, try to consistently head shot everything.
Each time, try something harder and harder until you are satisfied.

My guess is that they place too much importance on medals and that's swinging it, whenever our DPS guy goes for 3-4 golds he gets at least a full ranked level. I understand that making a proper MM system is tough and grading people on their performances is also difficult in a team game but what they have now is lazy and counter intuitive.
I've also noticed that in games that we win via stomps the DPS players on the team get WAY more ranking out of it than myself as the support, possibly because I'm not healing as much or using my ults. I assume in their system it thinks I'm not meeting my classes designated statistics for that round but in reality I'm doing mountains of work to keep people alive and make the game a stomp in the first place.
If it wasn't for golden weapons I wouldn't even bother with ranked now.

In competitive? No. Four Tracers was always the go-to desperation composition.
In QP, someone suggested we try it for a laugh, and we got shredded because the other team happened to have a Reaper.
Yes, he can be frustrating when stacked, but that's less to do with him being strong individually and him having fewer diminishing returns compared to other heroes. Two Zaryas are goddamn near unstoppable, two Lucios are retarded good at contesting, and two Tracers wins KOTH every time. Disallow hero stacking and those problems go away.

Here's what I think is causing this. A rank 70 dps player is going to be doing way more than a rank 30 dps player. They'll be on point, getting headshots, not dying, using their ult properly, etc, while rank 30 dps players will be doing much less in their games.
On the other hand, bad supports are going to be doing as much healing as good supports. Maybe more since the enemy team will probably suck at finish kills. The most important skill for supports, positioning, is not taken into account when determining your skill. Thus the only thing that will be reflected in a good support's mmr is getting good ults.

They really need to make a Genji-like character with a sword for a weapon, except the MB1 attack would be a slash with a sword and some skills to avoid attacks and disorient enemies.
Something like
