How do I increase damage across the board.
I've been using unity at every chance but half the team is slacking off like fuck. The only hard hitters are kiria itsuki and sometimes yashiro

If you mean combat moves, that's automatic, not by weapon. If you mean procs, you have more than one option but need to have taken the appropriate class at least once. You can get Aether and Luna relatively quickly by reforging Sol Katti and Gae Bolg.

She may be a bit lacking in the offenses department but the fact that she's not god-awful slow like Kiria along with her well-rounded defenses give her a bit of a niche.
If you drop most of her healing skills in favor of others then she performs just fine, though I think healing skills in general could have used a little more tuning to make her more viable as a swap-in burst healer.

I feel like evasion is underrated a little. I feel like in Lunatic "take less damage from x" much less effective than "increased evasion against x" based on how characters I have had with each skill survive particularly bullshit sessions.

Each character has 8 session skills available to them, of those, 6 of them have an El/Ex version (3 per advanced class, I think).
A character has 6 slots (enough for each of the advanced skills) until rank 20 where they get a 7th slot.
The 7th and 8th session skills (IE the ones that don't have an upgrade) are typically found on +1 low tier weapons.
Personally what I found annoying was Ellie's INSISTENCE on using Elec skills every chance she gets, even if the enemy nulled

You can just reforge the weapon or use a different one with the same spell. You also get a seventh slot for command, passive and session (in that order) based on stage rank.
In my experience the only thing you need to debate is whether Tsubasa should have more attacks and Mamori should have heals. Everyone else can get by on their element strikes, 2-3 attacks and some support.

Fighting savage enemies isn't hard if you have full SP. If Kiria goes first, pastel. If Yashiro goes first, mysterious student. If Itsuki goes first, strike a pose and pray.
Also, the shock wave technique can knock down even savage enemies, giving you a chance at first striking them. You need to beat at least 1 set of 5 in the high arena though

Touma is best boy. Tanky as fuck, hits really hard, great wingman, and fantastic at teasing and making fun of the wacky situations everywhere in this game.
Plus Cain has that sexy motorcycle.
I fucking hate that you can see her nose here because it means she still has features under her mask, and it makes me want to see what she looks like under it. I'm really pissed there was no unmasking scene at the end of the game or something, even thoughthey say they got their memories back but make no mention of it afterwards, like can't Chrom say "oh shit I'm the prince of Ylisse and Marth was my super great grandpa"
Is watchfulness worth a skill slot? I kinda wanted it at first but now I'm not sure if it's really necessary. I constantly switch party members in order to make up for the lesser exp gain anyway and I realize there are a lot more good skills I could use instead

It was actually produced by avex, which is a big Japanese company, so it's essentially legit j-pop, not just stuff made for a game. Also I'm still upset they didn't create a full version of Kirias Dahlia single even though it's referenced in game.

Pfffhaha, shit, I've never played an SMT above Normal unless it's NG+ until this game (after chapter two) but there's little grinding to be had and a bit of an anti grinding mechanic in place (unless you're trying to grind for performa/craft material and you'll be). There's some sub bosses that'll give you shit but decent buffing and debuffing will aid you immensely. Savage enemies scale with your main character and the chapter you're currently on.
Keep -unda skills, use -aja items, utilize SP. It's a great difficulty balance.
