Highly, highly recommend the Skval slew mod thats in the paste bin. Takes two seconds to download and install if you have JGSME.
Makes life so much easier, the default slew speed is abysmal.
Haven't gotten the helmet mounted sight mod to work yet. Its supposed to center it more when you zoom in, instead of going off the top of the screen like it does now.

Sand is actually really fun to tool around on and to RP training missions on, but for combat stuff it's pretty crap. Like, it's a big dissonance to fly over a pristine Las Vegas strip, bustling with cars, all the buildings lit up and busy, and strafe some tanks or splash some fighters nearby. Sadly the jet is shit for CAS as it has a very short loiter time and usually has enough fuel to drop a bomb or two before it has to RTB. Fuel management is a very serious thing on this one as VTOL landings require a lot of fuel. Air to air refueling will be a must for longer ops.
