The discrepancy with damage got outpaced by the CEs pretty quickly. He could deal out more than enough while having higher than average survival chances. It definitely wasn't one of the "Game over" just for having him servants but Cu made for an amazing addition generally, especially if you were interested in killing the hands, where he could sometimes take out both by himself.

There was enough time and refills to clear the shop and hit the first lore on only the 2BP. You'd lose out on some lores, some spirggan cores, and some dragon scales, but if you didn't need them then there was really no reason to even do the 3BP.
