I did all the money I needed with beating those rumour bosses. I did have that explorer gear which upped the money you get too, you'll get something like 30k from some of the bosses. Played with despair too, not sure if that has any effect on the money.
Doing other requests too is a good way to make some little money too, especially those that need several items. With good quality they give more money, sometimes a good amount too.

I have broken the shit out of Wars in Grand Kingdom. I have Experience on my Archer which apparently lasts for an entire successive battle run, and only costs 2 tp in wars. I'm not up to around lvl 35 on my main party while mysecondary is still 6-7. Since I am so high I almost never run into anyone my level so I can curbstomp most parties getting more endless XP.

Yeah, Yae and Tsurara joined very late in the main game. Though the post game did a pretty good job of making you use many characters with it's doors that required specific classes.
