Rev is fun but can only do 1-2 builds.
Necro feels like I'm literally wasting someones slot in a fractal/raid
Warrior doesn't feel right.
Guardian is kinda fun but I feel tired of it.
Thief isn't really my thing.
Ranger is still ranger, and sadly will never feel good enough to play.
Mesmer is fun, but I get the feeling I'm spending 3x the energy to match a facerolling rev.
Ele is good fun, but I don't seem to have the touch with the swapping and staying in certain elements when needed.
What do you do when you like a game but find all venues of play unsatisfying?
I run mostly power builds because I prefer it, condi feels way to gimmicky for what I typically do in game.

Necro is the singular best class for high level fractals. Ideally a 5 necro comp will clear the high scales fastest. Necro is also really good in raids.

Running valk + zerker trinkets with Wurm runes and abusing the free crit from the reaper tree to make up for lost damage.

No more random enemies just randomly standing around an open field doing fucking nothing, now they have actual behavior. Pack animals wander the maps in packs. Predators wander around looking for food. Bandits actually co-ordinate defenses of their camps and have patrols groups wandering the vicinity. All enemies now have a sense of self-preservation and don't just fucking stand in place waiting for you to kill them. Eemies now make actual use of movement and positioning, and ranged enemies actually fucking keep their range. Enemies will coordinate attacks and make use of combo skills. Enemies also autoattack 2-3 times faster to put actual pressure on the player.
Also I'd like an actual fucking day-night cycle and not just a fucking blue tint every now and then

Also separate PvE and sPvP/WvW.
Blind (PvE) now stays on the AI for the full duration but they miss 70% of their attacks. Don't know why it's 100% because it's not stealth or aegis, the enemy should still be aiming in your general direction so they should at least have some chance at hitting you. It worked this way in GW1 and it worked well.
Chilled (PvE) lasts longer on the AI, 1-3 seconds of chill does nothing for the combat.
Confusion (PvE) causes the AI to damage their allies on top of the damage per tick and skill usage, same for players in PvE (no killing NPC's though).
Give the AI the ability to dodge so Weakness isn't totally useless and we're set on conditions. Make them use the same types of skills the players use, have them support each other defensively and offensively with damage multipliers through banners, some special monster traits, blasted fields, etc.
Talking about fields, why would anyone blast anything but a fire combo field? Change the auras for PvE too and some boons like Retaliation and Regeneration. Protection doesn't apply the 33% damage reduction to conditions and Resistance pretty much nullifies it, so why isn't there a boon that applies 33% damage reduction towards conditions? Slap that on top of Retaliation on top of higher damage sent back to the attacker in PvE. Retaliation is potent on the AI so why isn't it potent on the player as well?
With a tweaked AI, they shouldn't melt as quick as they do now. These tools will also be available to them making the combat feel more interesting than it ever has been. There's no danger, no threat, no pressure except in raids and that's mostly boss fights. These changes justify higher gold from dungeons and dungeon revamps/new dungeons for the future.

If the AI gets updated with the same skill types as the players, they'll be able to fight back perma blind thieves but make them totally obsolete if those defensive skills are on reasonable cool downs.
