I'm kind of amazed at how Hard A.I. is actually good practice in this game. All the bots are cheating fucks with aimbots, instantly turn and fire if you flank them, and mostly stay as a group only rushing the objective.

I can honestly say that my experience from 50 to 61(still rising) has not been different in any way or shape.
In fact, the level 50s played a lot more serious than the 60s I play with now, you'll face lots of shitters who got carried through their placements to 57, and might have great players who are climbing the ladders fast on your team.
It's going to be a short season anyway, so you might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Ranked improvement suggestions:

2 heroes have some intended synergy such as double lucio or double reign in certain situations, but more than 2 of the same type is just harming your teams chances of winning.

more than 2 of the same role type is not as harmful to your team like as 3+ of the same hero is, but its still far from efficient and more well rounded teams will beat you out almost every time. not only that but i think that forcing role types to only 2 selections per role will force a meta. a meta is kinda already established, 2 tanks, 2 supp, 2 DPS, but its not catching on quickly at all.

i was thinking that bans might be pretty damn restrictive/opressive considering how thin the hero pool is right now, but after thinking about it no hero is in a state where they deserve to be perma banned on every single map, atleast not currently. So my thinking is that bans will be more map specific, such as Road hog on illois. as the hero pool gets bigger and bigger than more bans would be added, but idk how big blizzard wants the hero pool to be. if they follow what HoTS and league are doing and will add heroes "untill the end of time" then ya 3-4 bans will be mandatory in the future, but right now 1 per team is MORE than enough.

I mean this is mandatory. some people just want to solo and climb solo to test there own INDIVIDUAL skill without the help of others. Their ability to lead a COMPLETELY random team is a really showing of how skillful they are, more so than an organized team even IMO since it takes alot of effort to lead a team of randoms.

Yes, it'd put him at 8.25 m/sec for having both Orbs out.
For reference, Lucio gets 7.1 m/s while boosted, Genji and Tracer have 6 m/s, and all other heroes are 5.5 m/s.
Lucio's speedboost is 30%, so maybe 15% per Orb is more balanced.

the reason for why it's better to stack is actually what's most terrible about the whole situation.
these stacks keep winning not because it's a "team game" and they magically acquire synergy through being in a party but because matchmaking doesn't bother with putting them into fair games as matchmaking doesn't want to make people wait too long.
this isn't something that happens when you're solo because the solo pool is much bigger and it's much easier to create tough games, making it much much harder to get to the top.
outside of matchmaking, there's actually no reason for why stacks should win more than solos. as i said earlier, it makes zero sense as being in a party doesn't magically create amazing tactical synergy between what's basically 6 random players. the system is fundamentally broken.

This is one of the worst aspects of the system right now, instead of finding balanced games it pushes two teams of vastly unequal skill together just because it doesn't want the higher skill team to wait too long.
Over my time in retail and closed beta I've generally found that the longer your queue is the worst the ensuing game tends to be. I suppose it's this system that is to blame, the longer you wait the harder it tries to get you into a game, any game, as fast as possible. In theory the widening gap makes sense in a matchmaking system as the timer increases but in OW the system expands way too far and brings players together that really shouldn't be in the same round.

Jury's out on how much of a flanker Reaper can be with how loud and immobile he is, but compared S:76 and Genji is dumb because they're designed to do different things.
76 is a pocket offense that can offer lots of direct firepower for pushes. Genji exists solely to get behind the enemy team and slaughter their healer/sniper.

I used to play Reaper more than Genji, but I've shifted to Genji over time. He just seems more useful overall, even if his close range isn't as good as Reaper's without his ult up.
That being said, managing to jump down on top of an unsuspecting enemy team and use Death Blossom on the way down is really fucking satisfying, especially when it's so hard to land without dying otherwise.

Sudden death is a terrible mechanic. If the matchmaker works as intended and makes two each of which have an equal chance of winning then you'd expect both to cap that last point and you go to sudden death. So, equal teams are expected to decide the winner in sudden death which means all the gameplay leading up to that is pointless. Who wants to first grind through 30min of Dorado only to have all that gameplay invalidated?
