In Chapter 12 Conquest, it says Defeat boss or escape in 16 turns. Does it mean I can either escape before the end of turn 16 OR defeat Ryoma but take however long I want? Or do I have to beat Ryoma within 16 turns?

It's easily doable if you work fast enough. By turn 8 a bunch of Apothecaries spawn at the bottom and work their way up, so they're sort of an indicator for you to finish the job quickly lest you be overwhelmed by them. Camilla's Lunge will help you advance through the map too, but be careful of the Apothecaries. Otherwise she's nearly impervious to the Ninjas, even with Poison Strike. And also, watch out for the Shrine Maidens. One used an Entrap Staff and it actually completely caught me out of left field and Kaze was almost in danger. Just be mindful of enemy ranges.
As for fighting Ryoma, I've had success using Effie to fight him. I tried using Camilla with the Dual Club but it still wasn't enough. The turn limit is a little lenient, I feel like I took a bit of time and yet by pic related I was still on turn 12 or 13 out of 16 so if I didn't finish it then, I would have definitely done so the next turn. I would've made it go longer but the Apothecaries caught up to me, so it was a do or die moment when fighting Ryoma. I had to finish the fight then and there.

I notice that Onmyouji has higher Skl growth but Priestess gets her Mikoto's outfit and better caps as well as growths. Plus there are more magic users than bow users in Rev (Hayato, Orochi, Leo, Nyx, Odin vs Takumi, Setsuna, Mozu, and Niles). Its skills also seem better.
Since this is Rev I actually give no fuck about excessive class changing. I plan to make her a Maid from holding hands with Elise to help her Skl growth. Plus Maid!Sakura and Onmyouji!Elise just sounds awesome. So will Priestess or Onmyouji benefit her more to eventually transition into Maid? I feel that Priestess gives her a fair amount of both Str and Mag, which will help her with the E-rank hidden weapon grind. Plus I'm using Orochi too and plan to make her an Onmyouji once she hits 20. Any suggestions?

That explains it. Rest assured, even without using the DV you should have more than enough time. Using the DV may seem simpler but favors more offensive play, which your units may or may not be able to handle. I usually try not to aggro a lot of enemies if they have a lot of different weapon types, at least not until you get Keaton who can fight them thanks to his neutrality to the WT.
I remember one time an anon kindly posted a picture of all the pots and their effects, but sadly, 230+ posts in, the thread got purged and so did the picture (I didn't save it since I just had it open in a tab). If anyone still has it, it'd be appreciated. That way, you'll know which poison pots to break (since you will have to break poison to advance).

Selena should go Hero until Sol then switch to Bow Knight. 5 levels in it should hopefully somewhat patch up her Str and Skl.
GK Effie is good if she got good Spd level ups as a Knight. If she starts getting too slow she can always grab Armoured Blow then go General. Literally invincible to physical hits. Benny makes a better general because of his sky-high Def and strangely decent Res.
Pieri should go GK until Armoured Blow to patch up her bulk (she should cap Spd as one at that point also) then end as a Pally.

Hinoka is a goddess compared to Camilla the slut. First of all, physical apprearance. Hinoka has the better breast size. The cute tomboy look, the awesome hair. Camilla has the shitty cowtits.
Second, personality. Hinoka is a girl who would genuinely love you and all her friends, for better or for worse. If we look in the story, Hinoka is fighting for Corrin to come back home. Camilla is a seflish bitch. She would kill anybody who gets between her and Corrin, in the most forced way. She's plainly a terribly written character personality wise. While Camilla let's Corrin sit on her lap all day, Hinoka has been suffering, training hard every day, thinking of Corrin's well being in Nohr. She doesn't even know if he's being tortured, or he's even alive. Yet she tries to have faith that he is. A noble cause, if I say so myself. Camilla is a cold, ruthless killing bitch that has never experienced suffering like the long wait of your loved one's uncertain death.

Desirable is is pretty subjective. I prefer fast is all. Both come with good bases but Silas coming in pretty early is good. Pieri comes about like three levels behind the average party but can still be used in that chapter Thanks to her bases and good weapon rank..Aside from being the only Cav to slap mages shit without worry. She's solid and can easily swap out Silas if par or Silas gets screwed. She just doesn't stand out because others can do the same as her before she is recruited.

Even without Azura her personal still helps her if she's still in enemy range on EP. Look at Silas's garbage personal. Literally Felicia's personal but only when you've been beaten til you're only half alive.
Her Skl is nowhere near as shit as the other low Skl units and is passable. She has a niche that differentiates her from Xander, being fast and more resistant. Speed pair-up partners are not common in Conquest, and one of them is already reserved for Xander. Some might even say Arthur is for Effie because of how well they boosts each other while giving you a good kid as well.
People keep on making the tonic debate for Silas but they never take into account that Pieri can get a Def tonic as well like Silas's Spd one. And I honestly never needed to give her any to hold her own in combat.
Bottom line: if Silas gets RNG screwed, use Pieri. If she gets screwed, use him. If you think only Xander is enough, just use him. If you're not being retarded and all your Cavs do well, use them all.
