So I just beat ZTD, and there's a couple plot points that the game seems to have dropped or forgotten about completely, and I was wondering if anybody else who's played the game might have caught something I missed.Specifically, everything to do with Carlos' sister, everything to do with Free the Soul (Why did Delta start the cult? Who was the original Left? Why did they wear those freaky robes and what was the thing that they 'really believed' that Delta wanted Akane to see in the timeline that leads to VLR?) If Delta really was a good guy the whole time, why would he send Dio to murder everybody in VLR? What happened to the Phi that traveled back in time to 1904? How could Phi's brooch exist if Diana gave it to her right after she was born but Diana got it from Phi in the first place? How come Sigma says that he never really understood unconditional love until his 3rd and 4th kid, did he just not give a shit about Luna and Kyle at all? How was Delta able to do all that shit at 124 years old? So Junpei just mentions that Ace escaped from prison offhand and then it's never brought up again? How did Junpei change eye colours between 999 and VLR? Remember that bonus scene you got from 100% completion in VLR on hard that introduced a new totally not-blick winkel character that went absolutely nowhere in this game and was never mentioned again? Why was Akane so anti-murder in this game despite having no problems murdering the shit out of everyone in the first game? So they just let Mira, a sociopathic serial killer that was working with Delta, loves to murder people, and is still planning to kill Eric walk away free? What was even the point of Eric? What the fuck was up with Gab?
There's so much stuff unresolved here that I almost feel like I missed some super secret hidden ending despite getting the achievement for getting them all. This shit isn't Remember11 tier of completely lacking any resolution, but it's pretty damn close.
