The game is fun and good but still has some issues to work out. For example I play on PC and there is still no way to fully utilize the training dummy options without a PS4 fightstick (unless you are playing on a gamepad with R3 button). Its a minor issue but still one that could be easily fixed yet is still ignored. I would love to be able to practice crush counter combos or practice against a blocking dummy but as of now I can't do that with a standard fight stick on PC.

It has above average input delay which means reacting to stuff is harder than it should be.
The game is very simple compared to other fighters which makes it as interesting as your opponent is and most people aren't that interesting.
There is very little room for creativity.
There is no extra shit, it's as barebones as it gets.
I guess it's relatively balanced and there is the #esports aspect if you're into that.

it's punishable on hit if you're too close. it's actually complete garbage outside of some combos. you do need hammerfall break to move forward. you can also hammerfall, confirm you absorbed a normal, yrc, punish with pot buster/sweep.
simple oki is meaty 2p or 5k, gatling into hammerfall break into pot buster/heat knuckle. or if you know they're scared and won't mash, just pot buster. after pot buster you can do a safejump, which is just superjump shortly after they hit the ground. usually you do j.s since it's pretty active and hits the ground well if they crouch (for whatever reason), and you can catch backdashes while option selecting throw with 4h while your j.s is swinging.
might be too much for you to take in, but basically just super jump after a pot buster vs chars with dps or if they have 50% for reversal super. nothing wrong with walking up with meaty 5k, though.

raven is weird you have to flick stuff to get on him before he gets on you. you also have to instant block all his air attacks and os throw when he lands.

then you should watch this player named FAB from japan. he's been a pot player for over a decade now and he's clearly the best pot in the world (probably has been since xx reload) and one of the best gg players of all time. he has something like an 80% win rate with pot in xrd alone.

Yeah it's pretty good. You can use it on PS3, PS4 and PC with no problems. It's plug and play so the fightstick itself knows automatically which system you are connected to. That's pretty fucking cool. Also it is based on brooks so it has pretty low latency, and it is very easy to mod yourself.
