that's the reason you take scaling, you don't need the hp in lane phase because you punish aggression so hard that the enemy has to just let you farm, and later on when things are so chaotic that you're certain to take some damage, you're scrappy enough to handle at least one punch.
Although I'm not sure if the mana regen runes are necessary, I don't feel like I have mana issues with him when I have the DRing start.

but they are not triforce
q'ing the enemy gives you more gold than q'ing minions, plus it gets damage on them for free and makes them feel threatened so they're more likely to give you more cs anyways.
Besides, even if you only use your Q on minions in the early game and you get it on a cs every time it's up, you're still only getting your upgrades about 1% faster because 99% of your silver serpents show up when you finish TF and a single Q'd barrel plunders an entire wave.

i just had a support game where my team listened to my calls and we fucking destroyed. Every lane was losing apart from bot and bickering at each other, pretty standard game.

Honestly I probably could have beaten him but perhaps the biggest mistake I made that game was going Chilling Smite instead of Challenging Smite. Their team was Tahm/Diana/Evelynn/Ezreal/Braum so that was a really stupid move on my part. Oh well, we still won because I just controlled objectives better and my mid and botlane were able to take off.

I'm tilted and I can't get upHonest question, is there like some trick to making sure your baron doesn't get stolen if it's semi-contested? I usually click onto Baron to see it's health then smite right when it's low enough but it didn't seem to matter that match at all. I'm sure "enemy veigar with a W that does more damage than my smite " and "nobody tried to body block so they couldn't hit baron outside the pit" were contributing factors but I could really use some advice for the future.

the trick is to not actually start baron unless you can force:
