So it still is not fixing Jarvan's issue with not being very tanky at all. Why is it so hard to put the armor they removed from his E into his armor scaling per level? Just buff armor scalings so that he gets 20 more armor at like level 14. I've been saying this ever since his E got nerfed a long time ago which made him unviable.

You can just walk out of his Q, his ult is used more often for just getting back to lane or running away than it is for a successful initiation, and his minion throw is lazy. The only reason he was even played is because when he was viable, his numbers were so god damn high that he could be useful even if the person playing him missed 90% of their shit.

This so much. Solo top already has regressed back to the days were you NEED your jungler to be good otherwise you're done top with the current meta of top picks where you see the following a lot:
Darius, Irelia, yasuo, gangplank, Riven (to counter some), Illaoi, Wukong, Sion.
I did not include Vlad & Swain because they get hit pretty hard with the nerfs and Swain will very likely be pushed to mid lane and I'm not sure if Vladimir will remain viable, but definitely not as top laner with the nerfs.
Notice how on this list the only real tank that is viable is Sion? Sion also has a learning curve (you likely screw up the first 10 games you play with him), so he won't really be fotm like Maokai even when he was at 55-56% winrate last season for a few patches as best top his pickrate was very low. So yes with this champion meta on the top lane, top lane very likely will regress to a state of season 3 where you're completely reliant on your jungler doing good ganks the first 10-15 mintues into the game.
I'm also not really sure what Riot means with ''teleport ganks have no risk''. They do have a pretty big risk. If your teleport gank is somewhat succesful and you get one kill for your team then the enemy might be pushing your top lane. If you lose xp you get a level behind. With the current top lane meta being a level behind is that the enemy will try to freeze as much as possible and outfarm you. If you try to do something about it you get all in'd and killed or very low hp and forced back (in which case you still lose more xp and gold). You can't counter all in either because the enemy is much more powerful and will win.
This wasn't an issue with tanks, if you were a level behind you could still break freezes or farm without being killed (sure you would get outtraded and damaged badly but it would not be a game where you're always behind and not useful at all).

Sion's rework is 100% perfect from a theming perspective at least. His abilities all simply feel so good they're fun to use even if you're losing or you miss them.

Honestly I kinda regret posting Renekton, I was about to just post a few champs from the S3/S4 meta but realized meta has shifted pretty fucking heavily. What I meant is that early-game lane bullies like Pantheon, Darius and Quinn are gonna be the norm. Also looking through these champs, Gnar is gonna get hurt the hardest.
