I know magic has many damage boosters, but you're going to be sacrificing defense for damage.
In a raid situation, this isn't always a good thing. In fact, in almost all situations it isn't a good thing.
Adds some risk to wearing those robes. It's a ~15% increase over the current highest magic bonus of 30%. Ice barrage would go from 42 theoretical max hit to 43. Huge difference, right?

I was thinking it would be interesting if instead of it being a cheap skill to enter like the rest of them it would be the most cost heavy to enter
It would probably be one of the last skills a person would do as it would be a giant GP sink early on
