But that's not true. Bullet magnetism does not work on snipers. Aim assist only slows down the drag over the head, and thus effectively increasing the window of your shot-- which only really applies to drag scopes.

The thing is, those two stats are the only real thing that affects shotguns, more specifically range, which makes it so you have a more clear instant kill before someone is in the 1hk range of his
Snipers suffer from the same problem, but the most important thing about snipers is simply its AA. Other stats like RoF help you land bodyshots faster if you suck at aiming, and Impact helps you finish off guardians with a little bit of damage.
Range and Stability are nice but they aren't so important since snipers always have enough range to kill on a headshot and stability doesn't make a difference since you need to aim again after shooting anyway.
Primaries are affected by mostly all Stats
Specials are affected by only specific stats that work on the one you are using
Heavy is the same as special on Rockets, more like Primaries for HMGs
