It used to be that you could non-IAP and get lucky enough with pantheon rolls and the occasional GFE that you could sail comfortably throughout the game.
The MP shop and all these GFE 6+ star has made it much harder as they are going into full pay2win mode. Not to mention the bait seasonal/collab REMs getting filled with more junk than good now.

The game is getting more friendly to non-IAPers and the collab rolls are starting to become more useful thanks to skill inheritance, but the lack of new pantheon gods in general, good or not, pisses me off more than anything else.
I'm only barely two years into JP as non-IAP and the game is already starting to feel dull. My box is becoming more and more lackluster as I'm starting to roll less in favor of stoning for stamina. The only dungeons left for me to clear is Arena 3 and the PADR dragon dungeons, which I have no access to. Otherwise, the only things left to do is farm whatever, which sucks ass if you can't make the FOTM speedfarming teams ASAP and keep up with everyone else in co-op due to lack of stones, and bang my head on ranking dungeons for crowns, where getting my 7th crown is becoming less and less likely to happen as time goes on.

Tbqh I'm expecting some beyblade shit from this anime. I never much cared for it, but I remember it becoming a pretty big fad at the time (even in NA). If stupid spinning tops with monsters inside of them can make an impact, I'm sure they could figure something out for pad.

I think you have to have to initially play PaD to get it unlike Beyblade which looks cool regardless.
They better push the Pokemon aspects of it pretty hard, go for more of a Yokai Watch thing, with the main appeal of it being a cellphone game and you don't need a game system.
