I have literally no idea. It was the first time I ever got to the boss with three hearts.
Basically I just sat in the bottom right corner for the first two minutes. Right after the last green wave and right before the blue fucks that spawn on the bottom row come in move to the very back center, and only deviate slightly from that spot dodging stuff while holding X.
I got no advice for the boss. Just kinda follow paths where bullets aren't there. I was literally a second away from death when I beat it.

Oh yeah, for that attack that has a bunch of them tightly packed together try using shift to move slower. Some anon earlier told me about that and that helped specifically during that attack.
Otherwise I just held X and stayed near the middle since you can get fucked if you go too close to the top or bottom.

If you're like me, the story hit me pretty hard and put me in a pretty deep rut this past couple of days. The only thing I want to do is explore the world of va-11 hall-a more but I know that once I catch the things I missed in NG+ there is a very real possibility that will be the conclusion. I doubt the game will become big enough for a decent sequel or spinoff, and the chance of dlc seems nonexistant.

You can cheese the early sections by hiding at the bottom right of the screen, move away during the 3rd wave of red drones, then go back there and stay for about a minute before quickly retreating to the furthest left.
You can also get some extra hits in by going almost melee in front of the boss and shoot for a second or 2 before moving away.

I think you may be fucked. Try playing through and giving everyone the most expensive possible drink you can give them.
Either play through and finish the game (you're near the end) and then start again with NG+ or redo from the 24th or earlier.

Good bad and the character endings.
Also some other endings that you can get on one run. You could technically get all the endings with two runs.
There are a few different responses you can get, like serving Dawson a big Beer instead of a beer on day one, but those mainly don't impact the story.
You also get NG+ after you complete the game which allows you to keep your money and items, making getting the other endings easier.

With that said, even if our little game is not a smash hit… we’ll keep doing games, probably until we die because this is the only thing we’re “good” at, we have no choice but go forward and deliver the best waifu games we can. Without our publisher, we would have never got money off this game. We're too incompetent to figure out how to get our game on platforms like GOG or Steam on our own, and we didn't have enough faith in our game to try steam greenlight
Without our publisher, we would have just ended up releasing it for free with no hopes of escape from this hellhole. Getting our game up for sale in return for shoehorning YIIK ads into our game and giving them 90% of our money to pay for an E3 trailer was a good tradeoff.
