About Komaeda, I think his luck is very dynamic, it's a lot more stronger both in a good and bad way, I don't think it would be hard coded though considering his childhood involved a lot of lucky and unlucky events. Supposedly before having known Izuru.
As for the true mastermind, Junko is definitely skilled at a lot of things, she is able to even make an AI based entirely on herself, manipulate people and use them to her disposal, create the tools needed to achieve her goal, you name it.

Like this one movie where an ugly as fuck American kid finds a rainbow rock that can grant him wishes, the movie CG looked so bad and the characters were so cringy that I was honestly laughing my ass off so hard.

You see, his eyes are like a stop sign, stops signs usually represent restriction, which is what Hinata feels at the moment, he feels restricted, like his potential is locked or hidden. He feels like he is a normal person and cannot do anything special like the other ultimates.
When he transforms however, his iris changes to a radar shape, similar to what you see on many elements of Dangan Ronpa, the radar represents search or seeking out the truth as well as analysis. Hinata unlocks his full potential and has "searched" for his future.
On the topic of irises, the Soldiers of Hope all have a unique iris pattern too. For example, Daimon with fire or Monaka with a familiar symbol.

Well, each of their eyes represent their personality. Masaru has flames because of his will to be the best. Kotoko has speech bubbles because she was a former child actress. Nagisa has diamonds because of their influence to become society's elite. Monaka's however has two ways to be interpreted. It looks similar to the infamous swastika but flipped, of course, I don't think it is based off that but more so based off the sanskrit version.

Most of the reserve course students were there simply for name brand as Matsuda mentioned in Zero. Hajime seemed to have been the only exception. He truly admired talent and was looking for something greater than name brand. Plus he pretty much shares Jin and the committee's mindset that only talent matters and talentless people are boring and such so it's no wonder Jin and the board took a shine to him and chose him especially. He's a hard worker and has the Hope Peak's fanboyism. It was a match made in heaven.

I was pretty surprised. Many people, including myself, consider it one of the best action films of all time.
In many action movies, the grunts or the enemies seem like idiots who are too afraid to hit the protagonist. This one is different though, the grunts this time are violent as fuck and the "heroes" of this movies have this ever present threat of death. Gut wrenching yet viewable action, the fight scenes in this movie are just goddamn exhilarating. The story is not the best part of it unfortunately, but it's good enough to provide a ground for all the action stuff happening.
If you love it, go watch Raid 2. The movies are Indonesian though, watching it in either Indo dub or English dub is up to you.
