What I did was: pick up daily quests>get 2-3 world bosses>met from 5 to 10 horde babies on the way>gank them>keep doing the quests bit by bit rinse and repeat. It was pretty fucking fun. At some point there was horde groups of 2 players roaming around baiting people (one was doing the objectives while the other was, stealthed, waiting for you to attack his mate to jump you), I think I triggered them or at least I was a big part of it. Pretty fun stuff desu

Trust me, I have dreams every night of them adding back the deadzone. I played hunter from Vanilla to Cata and loved every second of it, it was so cool to have a class where you could easily tell on sight who was good and who was bad.
MoP ruined the class for me, especially because their damage was so retarded high that you could beat most melee in a fight at melee range. People thought changing the dead zone in TBC was bad, I wonder what they'd think of MoP. RIP my sweet hunter princess.
My last hope is that they add a new ranged class someday, like Sylvannas' Dark Rangers or something. Hopefully that class will have a dead zone. Probably not though, since their reason for removing it was "wahh it makes designing boss fights harder".
