The rewards are pretty decent. I'm around rank 2000 so I'm firmly in my tier. The Attack Boost II and the Defense Boost II are what I care about the most. The hairstyle, Chip, Dale, and Cid are bonuses.

For speedr, just kill the flower and the target. As far as I know the egg is what gives you the 5* duck. If you need those then kill that too. If you want a marginally better chance at getting a 1/2* medal I'd kill the little guys too. Personally I kill everything since it puts you like 8 enemies closer to spawning a raid boss, but that's just me.

There are basically two categories of good medals in this game, "strong" and "useful".
KH1 Cloud is one of the most solid single-target Attack medals in the game, KH2 Cloud is a decent AoE Attack Medal, Final Form Sora is excellent, Master Form is pretty good as well. Adult Hercules and Limit Form are also good.
Vivi, Minnie, KH2 Aerith, and DiZ are all incredibly useful. You have all the Attack Boost medals and the best healing medal in the game, which is essential for fights that drag on. Other medals that fall into this category are Namine who copies enemy buffs and Alice who dispels enemy buffs.

It also makes all of the keyhole symbolism throughout the series make zero sense. The way to access the hearts of worlds or open paths to new worlds just happen to be represented by keyholes? Why? Well actually we don't know this. The Keyhole leads to the heart of each world.
Once upon a time all worlds were one, and presumably so were their hearts (in Kingdom Hearts?)
So the Keyblade War, fought with Keyblades, splits the world into pieces and each piece has a Keyhole guarding its heart.
Who knows? Maybe Keyholes were made by the wielders that remained.

You would have to go insanely hard in order to make 250 in just over a week.
After like 210 levels take upwards of hundreds of thousands of Lux.
Recently there was a raid event in JP, the Fortress Crab subspecies that lasted 12 hours, and me with my decks that are a lot better than what a week-old player would have, only got something like 10 levels.
This boss was dropping 100,000 Lux per run at best, within like 30K with normal attacks/refilling my gauge.
It only cost 1AP to fight that, I seriously spent probably 12+ straight hours fighting them.
I just really, really do not see someone so new managing that kind of progression in that amount of time.

You need a six-star Sora, Riku, and Meow Wow to make the fusion medal.
If you want to Guilt the fusion medal you need a Meow Wow with three dots and a Meow Wow with two dots. You make a fusion medal with each of them, and then combine them to Guilt them. The fusion medal's max multiplier is higher than Meow Wow's so your odds are better if you wait to Guilt it, rather than using an already-Guilted Meow Wow.

Assuming you aren't doing level 1, the best tips I can give you are

besides that it really is git gud. Every boss is going to require you to learn and learn hard. For instance, on my level 1 run I was on Barbossa for 3 hours devising the perfect strategy to ensure that he wouldn't get a single attack off since no matter how good you do if Jack dies you lose.
At the end of the day it's patience. Savescum the start of boss battles so you don't get burnt out running back to them. Just don't savescum midbattle. Win on your own terms dammit.

Not really, your loadout should vary depending on the mission. Some quests need several AoE medals, others need several single target medals. Some have special circumstances and would be easier with a medal like Namine or Alice in front.
Generally you should have at least one buff medal but other than that you should be prepared to be flexible.
